South Korea appears to be first out of the block when it comes to countries looking to form a new relationship with a post-Brexit UK. The country’s ministry of strategy and finance has promised efforts to form a free trade agreement with the UK, similar to those it already has in place with the US, China and the EU. “To deal with rising financial uncertainties, we have to establish a firm safety valve,” its finance minister said.
