Chinese express carriers are marching ahead with their growth plans. YTO Express Airlines is hoping to receive approval for a new route between Hangzhou and Beijing, 14 times a week. And SF Airlines, one of the fastest-growing express carriers, has applied for the same route, but just six times a week. SF is putting more focus on the route between Wuxi and Beijing, for which it has applied for 14 frequencies a week. It also hopes to operate 10 flights between Beijing and Shenzhen each week, according to China Aviation Daily.

YTO, owned by YTO Express, is a relative newcomer to the industry, starting operations last year. It now has three 737-800Fs.  SF Airlines is expecting four additional converted 767-300Fs this year, following the delivery of a 757F in January.
