UK freight forwarder Uniserve has appointed Roger Clements to the newly created post of group chief financial officer.
The appointment follows the recent addition of Kim Overman as chief operating officer, also a newly created post.
Mr Clements has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and has previously held executive positions at logistics and aviation businesses including Stobart, Montgomery Transport, Woodside Haulage and Trenchard Aviation.
Uniserve Group MD Iain Liddell said: “Roger’s financial and strategic acumen should prove to be invaluable to us over the next few years as we continue to invest and build upon our incredibly sound financial platform.”
Mr Clements added: “Uniserve has had incredible success by being a forward-thinking UK owned business, which makes this career move an exciting one for me.”
