Alibaba’s logistics arm, Cainiao, has teamed up with Emirates SkyCargo as it looks to fulfil its pledge to complete domestic Chinese orders within 24hrs and global orders in 72hrs. Alibaba announced the agreement yesterday and, according to Arabian Business, the move is part of Cainiao’s plan to open logistics hubs across six global cities. General manager of the logistics division, Xiaodong Guan, cited Dubai’s geographical location as a plus in the company’s decision to sign Emirates.
