Air Partner has appointed Oscar Thwin as vice president of freight in the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Thwin brings more than 35 years’ experience to the role, joining the company from Airline Network Services (ANS), where he served as station manager.
He will relocate to Singapore, having been based in Chicago during his time at ANS.
Director of group freight Mike Hill said: “His experience and strong freight forwarder relationships will be invaluable as we look to grow our client base in Asia Pacific. This latest milestone of expanding our regional reach follows a record 2017 and strong performance in the first half of 2018.”
Alongside opening the new office in Singapore, Air Partner added offices in Los Angeles last year and earlier this year opened a facility in Houston.
Mr Thwin said he was delighted to be joining the team: “The region is an exciting one and offers a number of opportunities, and I look forward to working closely with Mike and to building on the freight team’s success globally to deliver the outstanding service our clients have come to expect.”
