Saudia Cargo has appointed Omar Hariri as its new chief executive.
Mr Hariri joined from FedEx Express where he was managing director of its Abul Latif Jameel Transportation subsidiary.
During a decade-long career in the logistics sector, he has also held posts at DHL at offices in both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and was chief operating officer of SAF Group.
Despite having been in the post for several months, the appointment was made official only last week when Mr Hariri replaced Nabil Khojah, who had held the role since 2012.
A spokesperson for the carrier indicated Mr Khojah may be assigned to a new role within Saudia Airlines.
