Charles Lams (above) has been promoted to MD Argentina and Uruguay at Bolloré Logistics.
Mr Lams was most recently head of finance, IT and legal for Mexico and Colombia and will be based in Buenos Aires, reporting to Hector Midolo, CEO Latin America.
“We are delighted to appoint Charles to this position,” Mr Midolo said. “His strong knowledge and experience across the Latin America region in management, operations and finance will be vital as we continue our ambitious plans to grow.
“Combined with his team leadership and proven ability in leading new initiatives and projects, it will help us develop innovative solutions for our clients in Argentina and Uruguay.”
Mr Lams joined Bolloré Logistics in 2014 and has worked as finance manager in Argentina, Chile and then Uruguay, before moving to Mexico in 2016.
“I am very excited to get started with our ambitious plans to expand our offer and supply chain solutions to clients by continually looking for new opportunities to meet their needs,” he said.
