Port of Los Angeles records busiest July in its history as container volumes jump 16%

Approaching peak season, the port of Los Angeles has something to be pleased about after recording its busiest July in its history. Container volumes were up 16% year-on-year. For the year-to-date, the port is also ahead of its record-breaking 2016 figures, by 9.5%. The performance bodes well as the industry gears up for the pre-Christmas peak over the next eight weeks.
