Whether trucking and intermodal company JB Hunt (JBHT) actually tops your interest in logistics doesn’t matter at all, yet stock market reaction to its formidable Q4 21/annual update should.

Opening this earnings season in supply chain (yippee-ki-yay ******!), JB Hunt management pulled out all the stops to make sure that the investor community would be pleased to hear the story. It worked.

But only to a limited extent – a lesson, perhaps, for all of you preparing to face the jury’s verdict ...
