Sadia Cargo has appointed Abdulrahman Al-Mubarak as its chief ground handling officer.
He takes over from Chris Notter, who was given the job on an interim basis some 14 months ago. Mr Notter will now return to being responsible for the network, four hubs, quality, safety, security and environment.
It is thought that Saudia wanted to appoint a Saudi national to the role, in advance of its IPO.
One source said: “He’s a great fellow, a good lad. He’ll be great.”
