Toyota signs Amazon, Pizza Hut and Uber as driverless-delivery partners

All the talk about driverless vehicles has mostly so far focused on Uber, Google and Tesla, but at this week’s consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, Japan’s Toyota got in on the act, forming a partnership with Amazon, Pizza Hut, Uber and the latter’s Chinese ride-hailing rival, Didi Chuxing, to develop an electrically powered driverless unit.
