Maersk Container Industry (MCI) has appointed Sean Fitzgerald as its new as chief executive, effective from January.
Mr Fitzgerald has over two decades of experience across management, manufacturing, product management and marketing. Since 2014, he has been president at Joy Global China, overseeing eight plants in China.
Before that he was regional vice president of Joy Mining Machinery and responsible for 13 plants in the Americas. He has also held executive positions during 10 years at General Electric.
