As The Africa Report notes, the deal could help Qatar Airways bypass the embargo which necessitates the carrier avoiding Saudi Arabian, UAE, Bahrain and Egyptian airspace. However, it appears as if relations maybe warming: the UAE has now restored mail services to Qatar, two years since the dispute began, reports Bloomberg.
