European road freight shipment visibility platform Transporeon is set to launch a new carrier business unit and has named Gruziana Hoxha (above) as its executive director.
She will take up the role on 1 July, arriving from sennder, where she has been head of carrier development for the past six months.
Transporeon said her arrival signalled “the next stage of the company’s evolution to a more carrier-centric organisation”.
Stephan Sieber, Transporeon CEO, explained: “It is a great pleasure to welcome Gruziana to the Transporeon group. She will build and lead our new carrier business unit and further develop the products and services we deliver to the carrier community on our platform.
“Transporeon has increasingly invested in developing carrier-centric services, with products like carrier premium account and carrier trust centre, a growing portfolio of turnkey integration tools for most common carrier applications, as well as advanced onboarding and support processes.
“Building a carrier business unit is the logical next step for us,” he added.
Ms Hoxha began her logistics career at Italian forwarding and transport group Fercam, where she spent over six years in a variety of roles. That was followed by a year-plus working in Uber Freight Europe’s carrier operations department, before moving to sennder after it acquired Uber Freight Europe.
“After almost 10 years of experience in the supply chain industry, I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to build the carrier organisation at Transporeon,” she said.
