Strategic Aviation Solutions International (SASI) has appointed P Balasubramanian, known as Bala, to its management team, with responsibility for India and South Asia.
He brings more than four decades’ experience to the role, including 25 years with Emirates SkyCargo and as an active member of IATA and ICAO committees, helping draft regulations for global compliance.
Chief executive of SASI Stan Wraight described him as one of the few industry leaders who regularly influenced, the industry.
He added: “He’s a prolific international speaker and conference moderator on dangerous goods, ground/cargo handling and operations, cool chain and logistics.”
Bala said: “It will be a pleasure working alongside the team at SASI, who are all experts in their fields.”
