It was one of those eventful weeks for Expeditors International: first off, it has been dealing with a targeted cyber-attack that means the 3PL will have to foot a heavy bill, as it acknowledged in an 8-K SEC filing yesterday.
And “temporary hit” may not apply, as it noted: “We are incurring expenses relating to the cyber-attack to investigate and remediate this matter and expect to continue to incur expenses of this nature in the future.”
