Amazon Go eyes London’s West End for first non-US store

Amazon is targeting London’s Oxford Circus for its first cashier-less UK grocery store. Retail Gazette reports the new Amazon Go shop will not only be the first in the UK, but the first outside the US. Citing Bloomberg, the report claims the e-commerce giant is “dramatically” ramping up the roll-out of physical stores over the next few years, with 3,000 planned openings by 2021.
