Hapag-Lloyd said this morning: “The UK Road Haulage market continues to face ongoing challenges as a result of increased cargo volumes through all UK ports and a general shortage of both vehicle, rail and driver availability. The reliability and punctuality of UK container loadings and deliveries has been affected by these issues and is likely to continue to be affected in the coming months whilst these constraints in the market remain.”
