TNT Express’s third-quarter results saw operating profit decline year-on-year by 15.6% on the back of revenues falling by 6.6%, but analysts took heart from signs of recovery, particularly in northern Europe. In addition, its previously announced intention to sell its Brazilian subsidiary, dispose of its fleet of B747 freighters and restructure its Chinese business all appear to be on schedule.
