Yusen Logistics has appointed Marloes Seesing (pictured above) as its global healthcare quality director.
Ms Seesing will help grow and develop Yusen’s healthcare standards across its network. She will be a member of the global healthcare quality business development team, based at its regional headquarters in Europe.
The company said her appointment meant there was now a central point of contact for its international network, and she will lead a dedicated unit committed to achieving global quality standardisation across Yusen Logistics, aiming to consistently provide first-rate quality service to customers and patients as standard.
Healthcare industry vertical Europe head Carsten Reuter said: “Healthcare quality and compliance form an integral part of Yusen Logistics global healthcare industry vertical strategy. Rather than responding to legislative, market and client demand, Yusen has decided to take a more pro-active approach with a quality and compliance-driven approach that delivers best value and product integrity for our clients at global, regional and local level for the entire service portfolio.”
Ms Seesing joins Yusen from Netherlands pharmaceutical compounding company Fagron Group, where she was responsible for leading and implementing worldwide quality strategy across a global network.
She has a degree as a pharmacist from the University of Groningen and has extensive experience in quality and operational departments worldwide in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry – particularly Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US.
