Markus Doerr takes over production at electric vehicle maker StreetScooter

Markus Doerr (pictured above) is to take up the newly created position of chief operating officer at StreetScooter, the DP-DHL subsidiary that manufactures electric commercial vehicles, on 1 July, responsible for production, procurement and quality.

Mr Doerr was most recently managing director of the automotive engineering division at Ricardo, a global engineering and strategic, technical and environmental consultancy.

He began his career with Ford in Cologne, before moving to the automotive consultancy sector, with positions at AT Kearney and Roland Berger.
