Delivery numbers in China rose 28% year-on-year in 2017, equating to some 40 billion parcels – or 110 million every day. Citing the country’s national postal and courier service regulator, Xinhua says volumes have grown on the back of much improved efficiencies delivered by new technologies, including unmanned warehouses, drones, and driverless vehicles.
