A cargo specialist at Heathrow has admitted that the airport is not structured to cope with future air freight growth.

Speaking at The Loadstar Air Freight Conference sessions this morning, at the Multimodal exhibition in Birmingham, Nick Platts, Heathrow’s head of ground handling (pictured above, left), said: “Our capacity shortage won’t change in a two-runway world.
