Interesting development, which would warrant an update by the LoadStar on the progress of the UN and China backed Trans-Asian Railway network which would connect and standardize (re: different rail gauges) the various national railways segments, thereby providing rail connectivity from Singapore to South China (Kunming), including branches to and within Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. How much freight is currently moved on the existing networks, and what are the nearcoming development which will increase the number of links and the capacity of the various segments, including to and from the main port cities?
