It doesn’t surprise you to hear that all the major 3PLs are tightening their belts in a market where uncertainty and headline/trade war risk reign. Right?
Then, it should surprise you even less that the world’s leading ocean freight forwarder, Kuehne + Nagel (K+N), is working hard to pursue operational efficiency, mainly in Asia, according to my trade sources, where changes in terms of operational structure and chain of control are rumoured to be on the cards.
