Bombastic ILA leader Harold Daggett doubled down on his uncompromising stance at the weekend, increasing the likelihood of a US east and Gulf coast port strike.
In a letter to union members, Mr Daggett, president, and son Dennis, EVP, dismissed last week’s USMX press release as “nothing more than propaganda”.

September 09, 2024 at 7:53 pmAn honest question: In case of a strike, what happens to cargo that is presently on the water and scheduled to arrive in the first few days of October? will the vessel turn around without discharging its cargo? will the vessel be unloaded and the cargo remain in the terminal?

Let’s play ball,not softball but hard ball batter up. People listen and remember Georgia Ports had commercials on TV for years showing us there record profits, time to share.I don’t see that no more, somebody understood that those commercials was taunting.
