DHL Supply Chain announces changes at global leadership level
Global contract logistics player DHL Supply Chain has announced major changes to its global leadership ...
A brief but significant people story. Norbert Dentressangle’s CEO, Herve Montjotin, leaves the company (now XPO Logistics Europe) today, according to an SEC filing. He has been replaced by Troy Cooper, XPO’s chief operating officer and chairman of the management board of XPO’s Europe division. He will continue with his role as COO as well.
No reason was given for his resignation, and it is as yet unclear whether other Norbert executives will also quit. Mr Montjotin was appointed CEO of XPO’s European arm and president of the parent company after XPO’s takeover in April, and had been head of Norbert since November 2012.
He said at the time: “As XPO’s platform for growth in Europe, we can continue to pursue this goal on an even larger scale, to the benefit of our customers and employees. I am proud to lead this growth for XPO, together with the current management board.”
