There are several videos on the internet this morning showing the gracious but surreal grounding of the Hansa Constitution in Hong Kong. The 633ft containership (2,810teu), which was chartered-out, slowly but surely headed straight for the Stanley Ho Sports Centre football ground – stopping just shy of the pitch once it had put down its anchor. Reports suggest the vessel was affected by engine failure and heavy monsoon winds. Worth a watch.
