Australian flag carrier Qantas has been going through difficult times, with attendant bad press, but doesn’t seem to be helping itself when its Chief Executive Alan Joyce has what appears to be a casual attitude to his  customers.

A convergence between the decision to outsource ground staff roles and poor public policy tested the patience of Qantas fliers during the Easter Period and could be symptomatic of bigger issues that might stall Qantas’s recovery.
