BCOs and forwarders can now negotiate collectively to buy zero emission scalable fuels, following the launch of a scheme at Cop, within the ‘Roadmap to 2040’ for Zero Emission Vessels (coZEV).

The plans include a maritime ’buyers’ collective bargaining initiative’ to give shippers sufficient critical mass to push ship decarbonisation.
