China on Friday said it would limit export permits for graphite, a key component in lithium ion batteries, likely to impact the electric vehicle market as well as semiconductors. China produces two-thirds of the world’s natural graphite. It looks like a tit-for-tat move, after the Biden administration limited exports of computer chips to China, reports Martketplace.
