CEVA Logistics has strengthened its contract logistics team in North America with the appointment of Steve Dean (pictured) as its senior vice president of business development for contract logistics.
Mr Dean will be based at CEVA’s facility at the port of Jacksonville, Florida, and will report to Casey Fisher, executive vice president of business development for North America.
Mr Fisher said: “Steve is a great addition to our contract logistics team in North America. His proactive approach to maximising sales opportunities and developing tailored solutions will be a tremendous benefit to the sales function and our customers.”
Mr Dean has worked in the in the logistics industry for over 30 years – including 25 in contract logistics – involved in developing marketing, engineering and solutions teams in various spells at Menlo Worldwide, Ryder Systems and Con-way.
“CEVA is a major player on the international stage with a great reputation and I believe there is significant potential to further enhance our portfolio of services. My relocation to Jacksonville puts me at the heart of our sales and solutions teams in North America and I’m looking forward to developing our customer offering to further grow the business,” he said.
