Leading air freight forwarders lose market share

The world’s top air freight forwarders saw their market share fall in 2015, according to WorldACD. In volume terms, the largest 20 saw their combined market share fall from 44.5% in 2014 to 43%. In revenue terms, their share fell from 43% to 42%. DGF, DB Schenker, Panalpina, UPS Supply Chain Solutions and Kintetsu all saw growth of less than the worldwide average of 2%, while Kuehne+Nagel, Expeditors, Nippon Express, CEVA and DHL Express beat the global growth average.
