June 05, 2014 at 5:10 pmThis is interesting, especially as an increasing number of Panamamax units are now trading/cascading in to north south trades.
The Panamaxes which have cascaded down in to north south trades will be increasingly challenged in obtaining a berth slots at the hub port and delays are likely as we have plenty of ULCS in the pipeline over the next three years.
Port infrastructure will take time to catch up with the growing pains of the cellular fleet.
