News / MSC and CMA CGM behind purchase of Zhonggu panamaxes

MSC and CMA CGM have emerged as the buyers of four panamax containerships sold by Chinese liner operator Zhonggu Logistics in April.

Zhong Gu Zhe Jiang (5,060 teu, built 2004), Zhong Gu He Bei (5,089 teu, built 2005), Zhong Gu Guang Dong (4,294 teu, built 2008) and Zhong Gu Guang Xi (4,294 teu, built 2008) have been renamed MSC Maria Clara, MSC Dorine, CMA CGM Savannah and CMA CGM Montoir, respectively.
