Yesterday’s disclosure by Forward Air of a few headline “operating statistics” was symptomatic of how things are progressing with a pivotal value propeller – read: trust! – for the Greeneville-based logistics company.
In January, weight per shipment rose 9.8%, while pounds per day were also up 9.2% compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, it added, revenue per ton mile increased 1.9% over the same period last year, excluding fuel.
Not bad.
