Cargolux has started its joint venture with Oman Air, through which the airlines will share capacity and risk. Starting with one flight a week between Luxembourg, Muscat and Chennai, the pair are anticipating a daily flight by 2017. Oman Air also anticipates flights between China, Muscat and Africa. It is hoping to develop Muscat as a consolidation centre and transit hub.
