Supply chain management software company JDA Software could be bought by the conglomerate Honeywell, which is keen, according to Reuters, to get into the burgeoning logistics industry – the one fuelled by e-commerce, anyway. JDA has been struggling, with $2bn in debt and fierce competition in the market. It’s not confirmed, but it appears talks are ongoing over a $3bn acquisition.
