UK haulage and freight forwarding group Europa Worldwide has made a double promotion, with Vanita Dass-Puri (pictured above, left) appointed group recruitment and talent manager, and Nicola Laidlaw-Rolph (above, right) its new deputy head of property.
Ms Dass-Puri joined the team in mid-2017 as manager of internal recruitment and acquisitions and will now be responsible for the group’s recruitment strategy.
“I am really excited about my new role at Europa, leading the recruitment strategy and growing my team.
“I relish providing an excellent and efficient recruitment service to Europa and candidates who express an interest in joining our business, based on quality and speed.
“Finding the right candidate for a role, and indeed the right role for a potential candidate, is the key to success,” she said.
Ms Laidlaw-Rolph joined the company in 2012 as procurement manager.
In 2014, she took on an enhanced role after being made manager of procurement and facilities.
In her new role as deputy head of property she will lead and facilitate facilities management solutions across Europa’s large estate.
This will include traveling across warehouse sites, ensuring unification as well as overseeing health and safety compliance, with Ms Laidlaw-Rolph noting she was “incredibly excited”.
Finance director Rob Ross said he was “delighted” to announce the promotions, describing them both as an “integral part of the team”.
“Their promotions reflect true dedication to Europa and demonstrate our commitment to investing in people, developing in-house talent and encouraging progression,” he added.
