Former Maersk Line Asia-Pacific chief executive Thomas Knudsen, a charming and articulate executive who was interviewed by The Loadstar earlier this year, recently made one of the more daring career leaps – from the largest container line to its problem child freight forwarding subsidiary Damco. This interesting interview with a specialist HR publication may be a little off the beaten track, but it does give some insight into that move, as well as the challenges that come with leading a multinational organisation.
