Neil Grant-Hunter has left Air Canada after 30 years and joined Swissport USA as general manager for cargo in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr Grant-Hunter began his freight career as a cargo station attendant for Air Canada at Heathrow, in 1987, after a six-year stint in the British Army. He moved through various jobs at the airline, before becoming manager cargo sales UK in 2003, then adding the Benelux countries to his remit, before ending as general sales manager global partnerships, which he did for four years.
Most recently Mr Grant-Hunter was doing a transatlantic commute, which may have led to his decision to leave the airline. Affectionately known to all as NGH, Mr Grant-Hunter has been a stalwart of the UK air cargo industry, and will be much missed on the European side of the pond.
