According to Reuters, the latest twist in the seemingly never-ending series of bribery scandals to hit the Brazilian government involves alleged “bungs” to the president by port operator Rodrimar, to influence new regulation being prepared for the ports sector. “Brazil’s top prosecutor, Rodrigo Janot, found ’strong indications’ of crimes, given that the decree signed by Temer answered part of the demands made by logistics firm Rodrimar.”
