Ceva reorg accelerates as rumours give way to action
On the move
Geodis has appointed Antje Lochmann managing director of its freight forwarding activities in Germany.
Ms Lochmann joined the company in 2011 from TFG Transfracht, and had previously worked for Hellman Worldwide Logistics.
During her tenure at Geodis, she has served as manager of business development, team leader for inside sales and director of national sales and marketing.
CEO for north, east and central Europe Thomas Kraus said: “Antje Lochmann knows the market, the freight forwarding community and our organisation through her years of experience. With her strong commitment, she has contributed significantly to the company’s success and will continue to do so in her new role.”
He also said the appointment continued Geodis’s history of internal appointments and strong career progression.
Ms Lochmann replaces Matthias Hansen, who becomes global head of ocean freight and will continue as regional VP for EMEA region.
Mr Hansen will work alongside Ms Lochmann during a two-month transition period that will run until the end of the year.
