The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning to conduct studies into the use of single-pilot cargo aircraft. Needless to say, the reaction has been less than positive from one quarter. Air Cargo News reports that three pilot associations have voiced disapproval to the move. In a joint statement, they said they “strongly opposed” the idea and “implored” Congress to snub it out before it had taken off.
