Semih Kutluğ (pictured) has become acting director cargo charters at Saudia Cargo, replacing Mike Duggan, who has left to pursue other opportunities afterhis two-year contract ended.
Mr Duggan had also been responsible for strategic partnerships, a role that has been reassigned.
Mr Kutluğ has been deputy charter manager for Saudia since December 2015. Previously, he was charter manager and sales and marketing manager at Turkish carrier ULS Airlines Cargo, formally Kuzu Airlines.
Mr Duggan had previously extended his contract with Saudia, but said the “tough commute” led him to decide not to extend it again.
“I enjoyed my time there, and learned some new aspects to the business,” he said. “The carrier is making significant efforts to change with the times.”
