Yusen Logistics (UK) has promoted air cargo specialist Paul Simmonds (pictured above) as its new head of air freight forwarding.
Mr Simmonds’ air freight career has spanned more than 30 years, and he has held various UK and regional operations roles at Lufthansa Cargo, Schenker, Ceva and CH Robinson. He joined Yusen Logistics (UK) in July 2019 as branch manager at Egham.
The company has also promoted Pete Bagnall (below) to head of ocean freight forwarding.
Mr Bagnall joined Yusen as an analyst in 2001 and has held several management roles, including UK OFF operations. The company said he was “pivotal to the growth of its journey from fledgling in 2001 to the significant business Yusen Logistics has today”.
