Ceva Logistics surprised us last week, its boss arguing that the group aims for greater scale in logistics services, both freight forwarding and contract logistics.

Those familiar with the CMA CGM-owned 3PL will know that in the past it often promoted fully integrated B2B logistics services in order to be able to secure or appeal to bigger clients in global tenders.

But it lacks the charm – and then some – of the major global logistics services providers, DSV, DHL Global Forwarding ...
