So yes, there’s a west coast port strike. But not the one that everybody had feared. Some 120 truck drivers from three leading companies in the area started an indefinite strike yesterday. They claim unfair labour practices at Green Fleet Systems, Total Transportation Services, and Pacific 9 Transportation. Last month the National Labor Relations Board accused Green Fleet of committing 50 law violations, although it denies the charges.
