Pilots at Kalitta Air are unhappy. The all-cargo carrier, which operates for DHL, has been told to “wake up” by the Teamsters Union, after a recent survey showed that of the 92% of members that responded, 94% said they had felt they had little management respect, while 90% wouldn’t recommend Kalitta Air. They claim that the carrier doesn’t offer industry-standard working conditions, and have called for improved contracts. In December, 97% of the union’s members voted to authorise a strike.
