United has appointed its new president of cargo, according to Flying Typers. Jan Krems, formerly vice-president Americas for AF-KLM Cargo, an airline he has worked for for 27 years, has taken on the role. Credited with helping Air France, KLM and Martinair align their complex processes, his experience could be helpful in pushing through the last merger challenges for United. The well-respected and liked Robbie Anderson, who led the company since 2010, left United earlier this month.
